Need a tattoo kit, but don't want to waste my money? Please help?
I've been searching for hours and days and still not sure what kit to buy. I just don't want to click the buy botton and get something cheap. I've never tattooed anyone, but consider myself a very good drawer and determinded to make this a carreer. Any suggestions would be great. Thank you
Cool. You can get a rotary machine head from all sorts of sources that will do the job and fit your budget. Get two as you want to set up for lining with one and shading or solid color on the other. Once you get into it you may want others to set up for different configurations, depending on your designs. As for needles and tubes, disposable is the only way to go and to start a 3-5 needle liner and a 7 needle magnum are standard for small to medium size tats. The larger the liner needle the easier it is to control on the lines but be careful and don't crowd the design by using an overly thick line. It might be a good idea to purchase some practice skin so you can feel the impact of the needles on skin without damaging yourself or being damaged by somebody else. Pigments aren't cheap anywhere and if they are Don't Use Them...get only quality pigments from reputable companies like Kiro Sumi, Dynamic, and Intenze.
